The Sacrament of Baptism is the beginning of our journey in faith as Catholics, and the door which gives access to the other sacraments.  Baptism cleanses us from sin, and welcomes us into the Church.

Typically, children born to Catholic parents are baptized shortly after birth.  Their parents must be members of the Ste. Genevieve Parish and faithful Catholics. They are the most important part of this sacrament, when their “yes” begins their child’s life as a member of Christ’s Church.

Baptismal Preparation is required for first-time parents.

Contact Deann Huck in the Parish Office at 573-883-2731 for more information about baptismal preparation and to schedule a baptism.

We, the members of Ste. Genevieve Church, with the guidance of the Holy Spirit, seek to find a fuller understanding of God's love by worshiping together, learning, teaching, praying, witnessing for Christ, and serving others.  Called by our Baptism, we will be courageous stewards of our time, talent, & treasure.
